You can move one delivery group's delivery to another day for a single week, such as when the usual day falls on Christmas Day. Every other week stays on the usual day.
Two ways to change a week
Move the order date. The group closes, packs and delivers on another day in the same week.
Keep the order date and change only the delivery date. You close against the usual day, but the boxes go out on another day. Use this to deliver early, for example on the Friday before a Monday Christmas.
Steps
Go to Settings > Change Delivery Dates.
Click Change a Delivery Date.
In Week, choose the week you want to change.
Tick the Delivery Groups to move. Groups are listed by their usual day and delivery day, such as Wednesday (Delivery T+1, Thursday). Click All next to a heading to tick every group under it, or None to untick them. Groups that already have a change that week can't be ticked. The shop's donation group isn't listed: donated boxes go out with each delivery run on its day.
Choose the Order Date, the day the week's orders are for and the date you close orders against, from that week's days. To keep it, choose the usual day.
Check the Actual Delivery Date, the day the boxes go out. It's set to the order date, which is usually what you want, so you can leave it. Or:
choose Usual delay to keep each group's normal gap between order and delivery, or
to deliver in the week before, such as on the Friday before a Monday, tick Allow delivery before the order date, then choose the date.
Click Save. Each ticked group appears as its own row in that week's table, with its Order Date and Delivery Date. A moved date shows the usual date in grey, then the new one.
Repeat for groups that need a different date.
If some groups under a heading have a change for a week and others don't, the page shows a warning naming the others. When you create a delivery group, or change a group's day or delivery delay, the save message lists the weeks with changes so you can check whether the group needs one too.
What your customers see
Customers see the actual delivery date everywhere; a date is shown, on your website and in emails. Ooooby doesn't send them a message about the change, so tell them yourself.
Rules
The order date stays in the same Monday-to-Sunday week as the usual day.
Each delivery group can have one change per week. To edit a change, delete it and add it again.
You can add or delete a change only before orders for that week, or any later date, are closed. You can't delete a change once the usual day has passed.
The delivery date must fall after the previous week's delivery and before the next week's.
The delivery date can't fall inside a Pause Shop Orders date range unless the order date is inside it too. Subscriptions are skipped when the order date is paused, but preorders still go ahead, so pausing both dates lets a preorder deliver on the new date. A new shop pause that covers a changed delivery date must cover its order date too.
You can't move the order date into a Pause Shop Orders date range, unless the usual day is paused too.
If you see "customers' skips would not follow this change", keep the usual order date and change only the Actual Delivery Date instead.
Closing and deleting orders
On Future Orders, a delivery group with a moved delivery date shows a MOVED label beside its name under Delivery Area Quantities, such as MOVED: Fri 25 Dec → Wed 23 Dec. The first date is the usual delivery date, the second is the new one. A group whose order date moved but which still delivers on its usual day shows ORDER DATE MOVED: delivers Thu 24 Dec instead, and the crew dashboard marks such a date MOVED.
In a week with a change, the group packs on its new delivery date. Every other week keeps the group's usual packing delay. When a date has more than one packing date, the product quantities on Future Orders, the preview, the delivery event and the preorder event page are split into one column per date.
Example: Christmas on a Friday
In 2026, 25 December is a Friday. A Friday shop wants to deliver on Wednesday 23 December instead.
Add a change for the week of 21 December. Set the Order Date to Wednesday 23 December, and leave the Actual Delivery Date as it is (Wednesday 23 December).
Close orders for 23 December as you normally would before a delivery.
Example: Christmas on a Monday
In 2028, 25 December and 1 January are both Mondays. A Monday shop wants to deliver on the Friday before each.
Add a change for the week of 25 December. Keep the Order Date as 25 December and set the Actual Delivery Date to 22 December.
Add a change for the week of 1 January. Keep the Order Date as 1 January and set the Actual Delivery Date to 29 December.
Close orders for 25 December before Friday 22 December, then deliver on the Friday.
Customers see Friday 22 December. On the admin dashboard, that delivery stays listed under Monday 25 December until the Monday.
