Learn how to configure and manage multiple active subscription frequencies in your Ooooby shop.
What are subscription periods?
Subscription periods determine how often a customer's order recurs: every week, fortnight, or even once a year.
Ooooby currently supports the following options:
Every week (default)
Every 2 weeks (default)
Every 3 weeks
Every 4 weeks
Every 5 weeks
Every 6 weeks
Every year

Defaults and customisation
By default, 'Every week' and 'Every 2 weeks' are enabled in your shop. These are the most common choices for fresh produce deliveries.
If you’d like to change these defaults (for example, only offer fortnightly orders), you can do this in your Settings under Available Subscription Periods.
⚠️ Why is an option greyed out?
If a subscription period is greyed out and can’t be unticked, it means you currently have customers subscribed to that frequency. You won’t be able to disable it until those subscriptions are changed or cancelled.
💡 Tip: The 4-week option is especially useful for shops offering products like meat boxes or other items that are less frequently delivered.
One subscription per frequency
Currently, your customers can only have one active subscription per subscription period.
This means:
A customer can have one weekly order and one fortnightly order.
They can’t subscribe to two different fortnightly orders at the same time.
How to enable or disable subscription periods
Go to your shop settings.
Under Available Subscription Periods, tick the boxes for the periods you’d like to offer.
Untick any that you don’t want to make available.
Save your settings.
