⚠️ Note: This is applicable to the new user experience only. If you are on the old shop front and would like to operate a fortnightly shop, please contact support to initiate the migration.
If your shop operates on a fortnightly (every two weeks) schedule, you can use Ooooby’s Pause Hub feature to skip non-operational weeks and update your Hub Settings so customers can only order on active weeks.
Step 1: Pause Non-Operational Weeks
When your hub doesn’t operate every week, you can use the Pause Hub feature to stop orders for specific delivery weeks.
To pause a week:
Go to Admin > Hub > Pause Hub.
Select the week(s) your hub will not operate.
Click Pause to confirm.
🟢 Pausing a week automatically prevents new orders and suspends any recurring subscriptions for that week. Customers will see that no deliveries are available.

Step 2: Set Your Hub to Fortnightly Orders Only
Once your pause schedule is in place, you can update your shop’s settings to allow fortnightly orders only. This ensures customers can only place orders on active delivery weeks.
❗️ IMPORTANT NOTE: Switching Existing Customers
If your shop has existing active weekly customers, you must first switch their subscriptions to fortnightly before you can uncheck the 'Weekly' option in the Available Subscription Periods list. It is important to check their order dates are set to the correct schedule.
If you have inactive weekly customers, please contact support to see if the switch can be made directly in the database.
To adjust your hub settings:
Go to Admin > Settings > Hub Settings.
Under Available Subscription Periods, choose Every 2 weeks.
Save your changes.

Step 3: Double-Check Your Schedule
After updating your settings:
Review your Delivery Calendar to confirm the correct weeks are active.
Communicate your schedule to customers so they know when to expect deliveries.
Summary
By combining the Pause Hub feature with the Fortnightly Order setting, you can efficiently manage alternating delivery weeks, reduce confusion, and keep your hub operations running smoothly.
