This article walks you through the process of adjusting the offsets for customers who are subscribed to a delivery frequency other than weekly, e.g. fortnightly, 3-weekly, 4-weekly etc. This feature is particularly useful when a customer wishes to pause their subscription, for instance, due to a holiday, and then resume it in a way that alters their regular delivery schedule.
Note: This task requires intervention from crew members, as customers currently cannot make these adjustments on their own.
Why Adjust the Delivery Offset?
Adjusting the delivery offset allows for the customisation of a customer's delivery schedule, ensuring that their subscription service remains flexible and accommodates their needs.
Who Can Make This Adjustment?
Only crew members have the capability to adjust the offset of a delivery on behalf of a customer.
When to Adjust the Delivery Offset
If a customer pauses their e.g. fortnightly delivery and wishes for the subsequent delivery to occur a week after the pause, an offset adjustment is necessary.
Determining the New Delivery Date
The adjustment to the delivery schedule can result in the next delivery being either a week earlier or a week later, depending on the timing of the pause relative to the delivery schedule.
Steps to Change the Offset for Deliveries

Important Considerations
The option to adjust the delivery offset depends on whether there are any upcoming deliveries scheduled between the present and the pause date. The direction of the offset (earlier or later) hinges on this timing.
Manual intervention is necessary if the pause and the desired new delivery date straddle an existing active delivery week. Crew members might need to manually add the order to that delivery week.
This feature is designed to enhance the flexibility of the subscription service, ensuring that it can adapt to the changing needs of customers. By following these steps, crew members can efficiently manage delivery schedules and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
