What is a Hub Pause?
Hub pauses allow you to temporarily stop order processing in your Ooooby shop, for example, during holidays, off-season periods, or when preparing for launch.
Pauses can also be helpful for shops that only offer forntightly subscription frequencies: By setting up a year's worth of pauses in advance, you can make sure new customers automatically select the correct delivery week when they subscribe.
Important: Pausing your shop does not affect your customers’ existing subscription schedules. Their delivery cycles (e.g., fortnightly or three weekly) remain the same, with orders resuming as normal once your shop is active again.
How to Pause Your Shop
Go to your Admin Dashboard.
Click Settings in the left-hand menu.
Select Pause Hub Orders.
Click Add Pause.
Choose a Start Date and End Date for your pause.
Save your changes.
Your shop will automatically resume accepting and processing orders once the end date has passed.

Viewing and Managing Pauses
All your scheduled and past pauses will appear in the Hub Pauses list.
If you see “No hub pauses found”, it means there are currently no pauses set.

Common Uses
Holiday breaks: Temporarily close your shop during holidays or staff breaks.
Seasonal downtime: Pause for off-season periods (e.g., winter closures).
Hub launch preparation: Pause before launching so customers can subscribe ahead of time.
Fortnightly operations: Schedule pauses a year in advance to ensure customers join the correct delivery week.
Tips
You can schedule multiple pauses ahead of time.
Pausing doesn’t stop new sign-ups; it only delays when their orders start.
For fortnightly shops, plan your pause calendar early to simplify customer sign-ups.
