Managing Your Produce List

Each shop in Ooooby has its own independent produce list, which you can manage freely, adding items, creating varieties, and uploading images whenever you need to

Your produce list is the foundation of what goes into your boxes. It's used to specify box ingredients and manage customer exclusions; it's separate from your shop products, which are what customers actually browse and purchase.

Finding your produce list

Head to Admin → Produce → Produce Management to view and edit your list.

Parent produce and sub-types

Produce is organised into two levels:

  • Parent produce – the general item, e.g. Apple

  • Sub-types – specific varieties, e.g. Apple / Braeburn or Apple / Cox Orange

Where possible, it's worth adding produce at the sub-type level. This gives your customers more precise control over their exclusions – so someone who dislikes Cox apples won't accidentally have all apples excluded from their box.

For a full guide to how exclusions work, see Managing Produce Exclusions in Ooooby.

Adding images

You can upload an image for any produce item or subtype (max size 4MB). These images are used to enhance the content view. If you don't want the images to show next to the content, you can uncheck 'Show Public Box Content Images' in your Hub settings.
