Managing Customer Discounts and Delivery Fees
Set up discounts for staff, friends, and family, or for goodwill, with ease.
This includes managing fees for wholesale customers and waiving delivery fees for selected clients.
Follow these simple steps to apply discounts to your customers.
How to Set Up Discounts and Manage Delivery Fees
Navigate to Customer Overview: Go to the overview section of the customer you wish to add a discount for.
Access Customer Details: Click on 'More Options' and select 'Edit Details' from the drop-down menu.
Select a Discount Reason: Scroll to the bottom of the page. Choose a reason for the discount from the list shown
Set the Discount Amount: Specify the discount amount for both core and add-on products.
Choose a Maximum Discount Value: Optionally, you can set a maximum discount value. This is particularly useful for offering free delivery. For instance, to provide free delivery, set the core product discount to 100% and set the maximum discount value to the amount of the delivery fee.
Manage Wholesale Customer Delivery Fees: Apply a fixed core product discount equivalent to the delivery fee to ensure wholesale customers appear on routing systems without being charged the fee.
Waive Delivery Fees for Selected Customers: Set the discount reason to "Logistics," configure the core product discount to 100%, and set the maximum discount value to match the delivery fee amount. Note that this discount applies only to future orders.
