Creating product bundles is a strategic way to showcase multiple similar products, such as different types of veg boxes or fruit boxes, under one umbrella on your Ooooby homepage. This approach not only simplifies the browsing experience for customers but also ensures that your core offerings are prominently displayed. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to create and manage product bundles in Ooooby.

Benefits of Bundling Products

  • Enhanced Visibility: Bundles are prominently displayed on your homepage, making it easier for customers to discover your range of products.

  • Simplified Choices: Helps customers make decisions when presented with related product options in a bundle.

  • Maximises Homepage Space: With only the top 3 core products displayed on the homepage, bundling similar products ensures that your best offerings are showcased.

Steps to Create a Product Bundle

1. Access Product Bundles

  • In the Crew Dashboard, go to Products -> Bundles.

  • Click on Add Product Bundle.

2. Bundle Details

  • Name the Bundle: For example, 'Veg Boxes'.

  • URL and Description: The URL field will autofill based on the bundle name. Add a descriptive text about the bundle, such as "A range of seasonal produce grown locally in an ecologically sensible manner".

3. Customising Options

  • Option 1 Title: Typically used for defining the size (E.g. large, medium, small) or could be adapted for other uses such as sliding scale pricing.

  • Option 2 Title (Optional): If needed, add a second set of selections, like Organic or Non-Organic, in addition to the first option.

4. Adding Choices to Options

  • Configure Choices: After saving the bundle, you'll see a new section for 'Option 1 Choices'. Click 'Add Choice' until you have the desired number of options (E.g. three sizes: large, medium, small).

  • Detail Each Choice: Enter names and descriptions for each choice, specifying details like the number of veg portions for each size.

5. Assigning Core Items to Choices

  • Select Core Items: Below the option names, use the dropdown lists to assign a corresponding core item to each choice.

  • Finalise the Bundle: Click Save Items to complete the bundle setup.

Displaying Bundles on the Homepage

Once created, your product bundles will be displayed on your homepage, typically showing your top 3 core products or bundles. This makes it easier for customers to navigate through your offerings and select products that best meet their needs.

Conclusion

The homepage will now showcase your bundles, allowing customers to quickly see the variety within each bundle and make selections based on their preferences.

By following these steps, you can effectively bundle similar products, enhancing the shopping experience on your Ooooby website. This method not only highlights your core range but also streamlines the decision-making process for your customers, potentially increasing satisfaction and sales.
