Ooooby's offers a versatile feature for exporting delivery manifests as CSV files. These exports provide comprehensive information about a week's deliveries in a format that's easy to manipulate and can be imported into any spreadsheet tool for further analysis, custom report generation, or integration into custom workflows. Here's how you can make the most out of flexible CSV exports.

Accessing and Downloading CSV Exports

To access and download your delivery manifest CSVs, follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to Active Orders: Start by going to the Active Orderse section within the Ooooby platform.

  2. View Detailed Information: Click on View Details next to the event you're interested in to access the delivery specifics.

  3. Select Delivery Manifests: Find and select the Delivery Manifests option to proceed to the export section.

  4. Choose Routes or Drop Sites: You can select one or multiple delivery routes or drop sites for which you want the information. All selected options will be combined into a single CSV file.

  5. Select CSV Grouping: Depending on your needs, choose the most suitable CSV grouping option. There are two main types to consider:

    • Group by Order: This option generates a CSV where each row represents an order, with all products for that order grouped together. It's ideal for a broad overview of orders without needing detailed information on exclusions or replacements for individual products.

    • Group by Product: Selecting this option creates a CSV where each row corresponds to a core product, including detailed information like exclusions, replacements, product category, and packing priorities. Add-ons are grouped under the first order line to prevent duplication. This format is particularly useful for detailed product analysis and operational planning.

  6. Download CSV: Once you've made your selection, click on Download CSV to obtain your data file.

Understanding the CSV Structure

The exported CSV file is structured to provide a clear and comprehensive view of delivery information. Here are the essentials:

  • Group by Order CSV: Ideal for summarising orders, this format lists each order on a single line, combining all related products for quick overview and analysis.

  • Group by Product CSV: Provides granular details on each product within orders, including exclusions and replacements, which is invaluable for product-level analysis and operational adjustments.

Example Template

An example template is provided to illustrate the information available in the CSV exports. It includes tabs for both grouping options, showcasing how data is organised and what details are available for analysis and reporting.

Conclusion

The flexibility of CSV exports from Ooooby's platform enhances your ability to tailor delivery data for a wide range of applications. Whether for detailed product analysis, custom report generation, or refining your operational workflows, these exports provide the foundation for a deep dive into your delivery operations. By selecting the appropriate grouping and utilising the data effectively, you can gain insights and drive efficiencies across your delivery service.
