Are you looking to gain insights into your website's traffic and conversion rates? Ooooby now supports the integration of Google Analytics, allowing you to collect valuable data directly through your site. This guide will walk you through the process of finding and sending your GA4 Configuration tag to enable this feature.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have a Google Analytics account. We only support GA4 tags (tags that start with "G-"). Tags starting with "AW-" or "UA-" are not compatible with our platform.

How to Find Your Google Tag ID

  1. Sign In: Access your Google Analytics account by signing in.

  2. Navigate to Admin: Look for the Admin option, usually located at the bottom left of the screen, and click on it.

  3. Select Your Property: At the top of the Property column, you'll find a dropdown menu. Select the property associated with your website.

  4. Access Data Streams: In the Property column, locate and click on "Data streams."

  5. Open Your Data Stream: Click on the specific data stream you want to use for your Ooooby site.

  6. Configure Tag Settings: Scroll down to the "Google tag" section at the bottom of the Web stream details page. Here, click on "Configure tag settings."

  7. Copy Your GA4 Tag: On the Google tag page, under the "Your Google tag" section, you'll find your ID. This ID starts with "G-". Copy it.

Sending Your GA4 Tag

Once you have your GA4 Configuration tag, email it to us at [email protected]. Our team will then update your account to start tracking your site's visits and conversions.

Note

This integration is designed to enhance your ability to understand your website's performance through detailed analytics. If you encounter any issues during this process or have further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team.

By connecting Google Analytics to your Ooooby site, you're taking a significant step towards optimizing your site's performance and better understanding your audience's behavior.
