Create Custom Surveys to Collect Valuable Feedback

In Ooooby, you can easily create custom surveys to gather important data and feedback from your customers. Whether you want to know how they heard about you or understand why they're leaving, surveys provide insightful information to help improve your service. This guide walks you through the process of creating and managing surveys in Ooooby.

Note: The survey tool can only be used to create surveys to find out how new customers heard about you or why existing customers leave.

Creating a New Survey

1. Navigate to the Survey Section

In your crew dashboard, go to Marketing -> Survey Overview -> Add Survey.

2. Fill Out Survey Details

  • Name: Enter the name of your survey (e.g. 'How did you hear about us?').

  • Description: Provide a brief description of the survey's purpose.

  • Display Area:

    • None: Default setting.

    • Sign Up: Use for new customers signing up.

    • Deactivation: Use for customers who are leaving.

  • Survey Type: Choose between multiple choice or single choice answers.

  • Once per person?: Tick if the survey should be completed only once per person.

  • Allow additional comments?: Tick if you want to include an additional comments box.

  • Is Active?: Ensure this is ticked to activate the survey.

Click Save to store your survey settings.

3. Add Survey Options

Click the Add Survey Option button and fill in the following fields:

  • Description: Enter the option name (e.g. 'Event').

  • Info to show if selected: Typically left blank unless additional information is needed.

  • Allow extra detail?: Tick this box to allow an extra detail box for specific options.

  • Display Order: Set the order of the options (e.g., 1 for first, 2 for second).

  • Is Active?: Tick to activate the option.

Repeat this step for each survey option you want to add.

Example Surveys

'How Did You Hear About Us?' Survey

This survey helps you understand where your new customers found out about your service. It can provide valuable insights into your most effective marketing channels.

Example Options:

  • Social Media

  • Friend or Family

  • Event

  • Online Search

  • Flyer

  • Other (with extra detail option)

'We're Sorry to See You Go' Survey

Use this survey to gather feedback from departing customers. Understanding their reasons for leaving can help you identify areas for improvement.

  • The delivery day/time doesn't suit

  • Moving away

  • Other (with extra detail option)

Viewing Survey Responses

Surveys are viewable in the reports section of Ooooby, allowing you to analyse the collected data. Additionally, each customer's individual survey responses are stored in their customer overview, making it easy to review specific feedback and take necessary actions.

Editing Survey Options

To edit or update your survey options, navigate to the survey you wish to edit in the Survey Overview section. Click on the survey and modify the options as needed.
