[In the subject line of the email, please enter [HUB NAME] - OOOOBY INTRODUCTION in capital letters. This is for easy identification throughout your communications.]

Hi Louis,

We would like to set up our payment gateway with Merchant Hub on our Ooooby platform.

Our new Ooooby URL is: [yourhubname.ooooby.org].

Please provide Louis with:

  • Proof of Business Bank Account: A recent (last 3 months) bank statement.

  • Proof of Trading Address: A Google Maps screenshot, an invoice, or a utility bill showing the address and trading name.

  • Proof of ID: Passport or driving licence for all major shareholders and at least one director.

  • Proof of Home Address: A recent utility bill or a driving licence.

  • Telephone Number

  • Company VAT Number: If applicable.

Also, please clarify the business ownership type.

  • Sole trader

The sole business owner should own 100% of the business

  • Partnership

Is there a registered partnership? If so, a partnership agreement will be helpful

If not, we just need to find out the number of partners

  • Limited company and whoever registered on Companies House

At least 2 directors and all shareholders who own 25% or more of the business

If it is a CIC, charity, or no one owns anything, we need to find out who the SMO (Senior Managing Officer) is - the major decision maker. One will do just fine.

KInd Regards,

[Your Name]

Additionally, your website must display:

  • Country of permanent establishment.

  • Terms and conditions.

  • Refund and returns policy.

  • Products/services and pricing.

  • Evidence of fulfilment times.

PCI Compliance

Handled annually by Louis at Merchant Hub. Remember to keep track of the renewal time as the reminder email will be sent to you directly.

My Opayo Login Credentials

Post-approval, you and your onboarding manager will receive MyOpayo login credentials. It's crucial to perform test transactions as directed by Ooooby to validate the account.

To Add a User (Hub Action)

  1. Log in to MyOpayo using your admin credentials. For the first login, the Vendor Name and Username are identical. Additional users will have unique usernames.

  2. Navigate to "Users" and then select "New User".

  3. Enter the new user information, ensuring to tick all the necessary permissions.

  4. Click "Update" to finalize the addition of a new user, allowing them to view customer transactions.

By following these steps and ensuring all required documentation is in order, setting up your payment gateway with Merchant Hub and Opayo will be a streamlined process, allowing you to focus on your business operations.
