Why migrate?
Enhanced Shopping Experience: The new mobile-first design makes it easier for your customers to shop from their phones. 70% of your customers order on their phone.
Brand Theming: You can choose button and heading colors to align with your brand.
Flexible Ordering: Allow customers to order several times a week, buy one-off boxes, place bespoke orders, or run multiple subscriptions at once.
Improved Website Integration: Seamlessly integrate the new interface with your existing website so customers can more easily navigate between the two.
Feature changes
The new customer experience manages orders in a slightly different way, and has different restrictions compared to the previous dashboard. Some areas are more flexible, while others are deliberately less so to simplify the interface and reduce customer confusion.
New features
π Multi-week orders: Customers can receive orders several times a week (e.g. Monday and Thursday) - if you allow them.
π’ Multiple order frequencies: Customers can easily set up a weekly, fortnightly and 4-weekly order at the same time, if desired. Available order frequencies are configurable.
π€ Stock control for guests: New users can view and order stock-controlled products.
π No hard-coded copy: Rather than paragraphs that can't be changed, the new interface reduces the amount of text and allows more control over what's there.
π¨ Custom theming: Change the primary and secondary colours to match your brand.
ποΈ Simple one-off orders: New users can more easily place a one-off order, while being encouraged to set up a subscription.

β Recipes
β Fortnightly-alternating orders
e.g. Alternating a Fruit Box on Week 1, and a Veg Box on Week 2 is not possible.
Customers can still add a weekly box with fortnightly add ons.
Migration process
Our automated migration tools will do most of the work in migrating customer accounts to the new format, however you may want to migrate some accounts manually before switching to the new experience in order to better manage customer expectations.
Timing
To reduce the chance of any order issues, we strongly recommend performing the migration when no future orders are in the Published state. Ideally, the migration happens after completing one week's orders, and before Publishing the details of the next week.
Areas of change (Customers)
Customers with fortnightly-alternating orders (see above) will need to be migrated into a compatible order. For active customers this is best done manually so that you can communicate changes before they happen.
Correcting this may necessitate merging two fortnightly orders into one.
All home delivery customers need to be assigned to the correct delivery group, based on the delivery group boundaries and their registered address.
This can be achieved by either changing the delivery boundary to match it's customers, or by changing customers to be in the correct area. If this results in changing a customer's delivery day, this will need to be communicated.
The Customer Migration page can help identify invalid accounts. Contact us if you don't have access to this page. If you have many historical customers the list may be long. Most accounts will be automatically migrated - you should focus on active accounts that have "Odd and even subscription items", or are in a wrong/invalid delivery group.
Areas of change (Admin)
Some areas of the admin interface have changed to support the new customer interface. The primary one is the customer subscription edit page.
In line with the above mentioned restrictions, as an admin you can no longer;
Create fortnightly-alternating orders
Assign a customer to an ad-hoc home delivery group that doesn't match the customer's address
Next steps
