Setting Up Manual Delivery Route Ordering
Go to Hub Settings
Navigate to Settings > Hub Settings.
In the Delivery Routing Algorithm dropdown, select Manual Delivery Route Ordering and click Save.
2. Show Inactive Customers (Optional)
If you'd like to include inactive customers in your delivery routing, tick the Show Inactive Customers for Manual Ordering box.
Admin Dashboard Notifications
Your Admin Dashboard will display a notification if any routes have new customers needing sorting.
Note: When first setting up, the number of unsorted customers may be higher than in future weeks.
Sorting Your Delivery Groups
Access Delivery Groups
Go to Settings > Delivery Groups.
Delivery groups needing sorting will have an alert symbol next to their Sort button.
Hover over the alert to see the number of addresses that require ordering.
2. Sorting Addresses
Click the Sort button for the relevant delivery group.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Optimise New Addresses button. This feature will estimate an optimal order based on distance, which you can adjust manually by dragging addresses into the desired order.
Optimise New Addresses will only effect addresses that you have not ordered.
3. Save Your Route
Once the addresses are ordered to your preference, click Update Route. This will save your customised route for all future deliveries.
Adjusting Routes for Active Orders
To modify the delivery order for an active order:
Use the Adjust Route Order function within the active order to make temporary changes. This adjustment will not affect the saved master route set up in Delivery Groups.
Note: Active Order adjustments will include only active customers in that event (not inactive customers), and any changes made here apply only to that Active Order, leaving the saved master route unchanged for future orders.
This guide will help you set up and manage your delivery routes effectively, ensuring smooth delivery operations each week.
