To sign up to Stripe, please take the following steps:
If you are already using Ooooby with a different payment provider, please email [email protected] to confirm that you agree to the updated Terms & Conditions (ignore this step if you are new to Ooooby and are setting up payments for the first time) or use the support button on your Ooooby dashboard
Login to your Admin Dashboard > Settings > Hub Settings > click on 'Setup Stripe account' at the bottom of the page
You will be sent to the sign up page of the Stripe website, where you can create a Stripe account (see image below). If you have an existing Stripe login you can use this to manage both your Ooooby Stripe account and any other Stripe accounts you might have. Whilst you can use an existing Stripe login, it's not possible to use an existing Stripe account.
Sign up should take 10 - 30 minutes depending on your situation. After sign up, your Stripe account will be automatically connected to your Ooooby account, and you'll be ready to take payments.
Stripe fees
When using Stripe, your Ooooby fees include payment processing fees, as opposed to previously where you needed to cover payment fees separately. Additionally, the new plan is based on payments, while previous Ooooby plans were based on sales. The number of payments will depend on the average customer transaction value (ATV). E.g. An ATV of £10 with total sales revenue of £100 = 10 payments for the week.
Different rates are in place if your monthly revenue through Ooooby exceeds £6000. If your monthly revenue is below £6000 per month you will be on the standard Tier 1 rates as per the pricing details here.
If your monthly revenue is above £6000 you qualify to move to another payment tier. Please contact us via the support button if this applies to you.
With Stripe, Ooooby's fee will be automatically collected when customers transact through the platform. Deducted fees include VAT for UK-based customers.
Stripe Payout Timings
Stripes standard payout timing is 7 calendar days. If you are on Tier 2, or above, pricing (see above) then your payout timing will be 3 calendar days.
Moving from Windcave or Opayo
The information below is additional information for businesses using Ooooby that use Windcave or Opayo for payments and wish to migrate over to using Stripe
Customer Migration
After setting up Stripe, all new customer sign ups will be with Stripe. However, all existing customers will continue to pay via Windcave or Opayo, until migrated. To move to Stripe payments your customers will need to re-enter their card details so they can be charged through Stripe.
Below is a suggested email template you can use to encourage your customers to move to Stripe:

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving your experience, we’re transitioning to a new payment system powered by Stripe, a leading and secure payment processor.
Why the change?
This switch will provide you with a smoother, more reliable checkout process and better payment security.
To continue receiving your orders seamlessly, please log in to your dashboard and add your payment card details to your account. It’s a quick and easy process:
How to update your payment details:
1. Log in to your account at [INSERT dashboard login URL].
2. Click on the ‘My Account’ tab
3. Click on the orange ‘Update Payment Details’ button
4. Save your changes, and you’re all set!
We appreciate your prompt action in updating your card details. This will ensure that there are no interruptions in receiving your regular deliveries.

NB: To encourage customers to re-enter their card details you may want to offer an incentive, such as a prize to one customer of one free box.
Billing
Your Ooooby fees will migrate with your customers. You'll be charged on sales for any customers using an old payment provider, and on payments for customers that have moved to Stripe.
You won't be paying double fees to Ooooby, and will probably save money as there is a lag between payment and sales that we won't collect a fee for.
Cancelling Your Windcave or Opayo Account
Once all your customers have moved to Stripe please take the following steps:
Delete your old payment provider in your Ooooby account. To do this contact the Ooooby support team via the green button on your Ooooby dashboard (or via [email protected])
NB: If you delete your old payment provider this will set all remaining customers using that payment provider to an "Unknown" payment type, and debt limit of zero. This will in turn trigger a prompt when the customer logs in, to update their card details. Deleting a payment provider is irreversible.
Notify your existing payment provider to close your account, as follows:
